Enterprise Fellow

Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences

Fixed term for immediate appointment until 31 July 2011

(up to two posts)

Salary Scale: Grade 8 - (£37,990 - £45,336)

Keele Management School seeks to appoint up to two Enterprise Fellows. The role of Enterprise Fellow, as an individual with a strong business or academic background and a focus on management development, will be in developing links with external client organisations and interacting closely with colleagues in the School and other relevant units in ensuring that enterprise (employer engagement and CPD) opportunities are developed, negotiated and delivered and that targets are met; contributing to a culture shift that embeds entrepreneurial activity at the core of Keele Management School and playing a leading role in the School's enterprise team.

Candidates should preferably hold an academic qualification in a management related area, or equivalent business background. The ideal candidate will add to this a convincing career track record that qualifies them for a role that will straddle the interface between academia and business, and that will require strong interdisciplinary and inter-professional communication skills. Appointed candidates will be employed in the role of a teaching fellow and will be expected to work towards build-up of a self-sustaining revenue stream.
