Assistant Professor or Visiting Assistant in Management

The Milgard School of Business at the University of Washington Tacoma is accepting applications for two 9-month faculty positions in management effective September 16, 2011. Candidates who apply will be considered for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor position or full-time Visiting Assistant, Associate or Full-Professor levels with a one-year appointment (with the possibility of renewal for a second year).

We seek candidates demonstrating strong potential for excellence in scholarship and teaching at the undergraduate and MBA levels. An earned doctorate in management or a related discipline is required. The ideal candidates would have an active research program in either the macro or micro area of the field and be able to teach in two or more of the following areas: principles of management, international management, strategy, or social responsibility and ethics.
